The SC-HC3 achieves high quality sound from compact speakers. The Bamboo Cone Speaker produces crisp, clear vocals. And the two passive radiators that are positioned at the front and back of the speaker unit cancel out vibrations inside the speaker to suppress unwanted vibrations and deliver robust bass sounds.

The slide-type door allows easy insertion and removal of an iPod or CD, even in tight spaces. This special iPod dock lets you easily connect an iPod directly to the main unit without using any cables. You can then select songs from among your iPod favourites with remote operation. You can also set the wake-up timer to work with music from your iPod.

With only about the same depth (10.25 cm) as a paperback book, the SC-HC3 can be placed on a desktop, bedside stand, or other small space.
