Pure Digital's DMX50 DAB digital mini system offers pause, rewind as well as recording onto standard SD (secure digital) cards: the type commonly found for storing pictures on digital cameras.

The Pure DMX50 hi-fi system features CD playback for CD-R, CD-RW discs and MP3 files. The system displays both the name of the station and RadioText on FM, and DAB scrolling text and information on DAB Band III.

The DMX-50 offers 2 x 40 Watts power output, two inputs for connection of a MiniDisc player, iPOD or similar MP3 player. Multiple recordings can be made to SD cards up to and including 1GB in size.

There are 99 presets on each waveband - the DMX 50 picks up both FM and DAB digital radio stations. Clock, timer and alarm functions are also to hand. The hi-fi also includes an optical digital output and two stereo phono outputs in its specification.
